Is this UK’s best boss? Company treats 55 workers to £100k all-inclusive sunshine holiday as thanks for working in Covid
A GENEROUS boss is treating his entire company to a £100k holiday to say thanks to his staff for their tireless work over the pandemic.
Pavan Arora, Chief Commercial Officer at recruitment firm Yolk Recruitment, said staff have had a "really tough time" and deserved a well-earned break.
Kind-hearted Pavan, who has only been in his job for 8-months, is splashing out for 55 of his Cardiff-based colleagues for an all-inclusive trip to Spain.
The lucky lot will enjoy four-days of glorious sunshine on the Canary Island of Tenerife in April, as a payback for their commitment to the firm, and for turning around record profits last year.
Discussing the plans, Pavan noted: "Has any other company in Wales done a companywide holiday of this scale before?"
He added how the firm "never go cheap" in what they do, which he said was only possible because his firm strives to be "Bright Bold Better" in everything they do.
The company said the purpose of the trip to the Costa Adeje, which is on the south of the island, is to build a work culture where "everyone wins" meaning "no one can be left behind" from the holiday.
New hires onboarded in January and February are invited on the trip as staff at the firm revealed how they could not believe their luck when they heard of the plans.

Matthew, 28, who only joined the firm in January, said he thought someone was pulling his leg with the invite.
He said: "I must admit I was a little surprised at first, thinking someone was pulling my leg having only been there a week - picking on the newbie."
Rebecca Bond, 26, who has been at the company for four years said she was pleased with the holiday "after what can only be described as an eventful year."
Mr Arora added: "2020 was a really tough time on our whole industry - we went from the jobs market being put on hold to going into overdrive.
"Our staff have been on a journey, from going to remote working to hybrid back to remote so we just wanted to put our arms around everyone and say thank you for the last two years.
"It's employee care and we want to make sure everyone feels appreciated for the hard work they've done over the past two years."
