THE future of wine drinking is coming - with cans of bubbly rosé to be delivered by drone to thirsty tech-lovers.
The Uber-style service is set to be launched in New York, followed by Los Angeles, with the 12 drone service to be expanded from spring.
The drones, that will be able to hold two or four cans, are promoted as being able to deliver the wine to the exact location of wine-lovers.
In the hilarious advertisement sprucing the new service, viewers are told: "Human beings have to make thousands of decisions each day, it's exhausting. We are tasked with navigating through the hardships of our lives and are barely given credit for the sheer accomplishment of getting out of bed each morning.
"That's why we are proud to announce the launch of Babe Rosé."
The advertisement continues to spruik the product, saying: "Whether in the club, by the pool or alone in a dark room being weird, just order from our app and within minutes, a Swedish-designed zero emission drone will be by your side.
"You can now have cold, delicious rosé with bubbles wherever, whenever."
The tongue in cheek advertisement then makes the observation that "the future hasn't been that great.
"We still can't eat full meals in pill form and our cars don't fold up into suitcases. We don't even have f*** hoverboards. Scientists are totally blowing it.
"But rosé drone delivery is progress. You're welcome."
The service, launched by Instagram star The Fat Jew - otherwise known as Josh Ostrovsky - will allow people to download an app for free, ordering the wine for about USD$13.99 - or about USD$8.99 for a two pack.
