Full list of major attractions reopening after Storm Eunice forced Legoland and National Trust sites to shut
DOZENS of major attractions including Legoland have reopened after Storm Eunice forced them to shut down.
Chessington World of Adventures and the London Eye opened their doors this morning after millions were told to stay at home during the killer 122mph gales yesterday.
The storm sparked half-term chaos for bored families, forcing them to stay inside as dangerous gales took hold.
Although travel disruptions continue and yellow wind warnings remain in place across the country, many major attractions have reopened their doors today.
The popular Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland in Windsor, Berks., have all taken the decision to welcome visitors back.
CHESSINGTON WORLD OF ADVENTURES
Chessington World of Adventures has now reopened after it shut its gates to protect its staff, guests and animals when Eunice swooped in.
The resort said last night: "Attention Adventurers. We’ll be reopening our doors tomorrow morning.
"Our teams are looking forward to seeing you, and are checking the Resort to make sure you have a safe, wild adventure with us!"

LEGOLAND
Legoland was shut on Friday over safety fears as Eunice battered the UK.
However, it reopened as planned this morning.
A statement released by the Windsor attraction said: "We are delighted that the LEGOLAND Windsor will be reopening as planned on Saturday 19 February, following the temporary closure today as a precautionary measure during Storm Eunice.
"Thank you for your understanding whilst we focused on keeping everyone safe during the storm - we look forward to seeing you soon for Brick Week."
KEW GARDENS
Kew Gardens in London has now reopened, although the Orchid Festival will remain closed due to repairs taking place.
The world-famous attraction said: "Kew Gardens will be back open tomorrow - Saturday 19 February.
"Unfortunately, the Orchid Festival will remain closed due to repairs taking place. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Orchids After Hours will go ahead as planned.
"Tickets to the gardens are still valid for entry and all ticket holders for Saturday will be contacted by See Tickets shortly with details of how to re-schedule their visit if they wish to do so."
The botanical garden urges visitors to check their website before travelling.
LONDON EYE
The London Eye reopened to visitors today.
A statement issued this morning said: "The London Eye and River Cruise is open and operating as usual, thank you for your patience."
LONDON ZOO
London Zoo has reopened as expected after it was shut yesterday.
A statement said: "ZSL London Zoo is open today, Saturday 19 February 2022. Please take extra care when travelling."

CHESTER ZOO
Like many other zoos across the UK, Chester Zoo made the decision to close yesterday for everyone's safety.
It is now open as the weather has cleared up in the area.
The zoo said this morning: "Phew! That was a windy one…
"Thankfully though, the storm has passed and the weather has cleared up at the zoo, so we're very happy to announce that we're back OPEN from today!"
HAMPTON COURT PALACE
Hampton Court Palace has reopened today.
It's said that Kensington Palace will reopen this afternoon.
SPINNAKER TOWER
Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth was closed yesterday due the rampaging winds from Eunice.
The attraction said at the time: "Due to dangerous winds we have taken the decision to close today.
"We will be opening tomorrow as usual."
BRITISH AIRWAYS i360
The iconic British Airways i360 Viewing Tower in Brighton has reopened.
The south coast's attraction shared a video on its Twitter page welcoming visitors back to its bar this morning.
STONEHENGE
With 100mph winds expected in some parts of the UK, Stonehenge was on Friday.
It will welcome visitors back from11am today, slightly later than its usual open time.
The English Heritage site said: "Stonehenge will open at 11am today, Saturday 19 February, due to the impact of yesterday's storm.
"If you have a booking for a time slot when we're closed, we will automatically cancel it and make any refund within 10 working days."
NATIONAL TRUST
A number of National Trust sites closed their doors as the area was battered by rampaging winds yesterday.
