When will Storm Eunice end?

The storm hit the UK on February 18, 2022 bringing extreme winds and heavy rainfall.

It looks like Eunice will remain for the weekend with further weather warnings being issued by the Met Office.

Advice is to check the weather in your area for updates into early next week.

Eunice will continue into next week with suggestions of snow in areas such as the Midlands.

When are weather warnings in place?

The Met Office initially issued red warnings across parts of the UK but this has since changed to yellow warnings.

There are snow and wind warnings over most of England and Wales during the weekend and Monday 21, 2022.

These will remain in place until 3pm on Monday, but the Met Office may update this if the storm does not subside.

Yellow warnings still indicate extreme weather, although the worst could be behind us.

What is the weekend forecast?

Most areas of the UK will see high winds and rain this weekend.

A yellow warning indicates there may still be some damage to infrastructure.

They suggest avoiding coastal areas if possible and to not make unnecessary journeys as there could be falling trees and many delays still to come.
