‘Fresh HUMAN heart’ found in plastic bag next to supermarket by paramedics

A FRESH human heart has been found in a plastic bag next to an American supermarket by a group of paramedics.
Cops were alerted to the find which is undergoing tests as the organ bears a strong resemblance to that of chimpanzees, pigs and dogs.
However it is 95 per cent certain to be a heart belonging to a human.
There were no reports of anyone missing in Norwalk, Ohio, in the US where it was discovered.
And no one has come forward to say to claim it.
Cops said they were unaware of any unsolved cases involving a dead body where the heart had been removed.
"They’re 95 percent sure it was human, but they want to make 100 percent sure.
Jill Del Greco, spokeswoman for the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, said she had heard of no cases involving a missing human heart either: “We wouldn’t necessarily hear about it,” Del Greco said. “Most cases are handled at the local level.”
The heart was found next to the Friendship Food Store in Norwalk on August 25th by paramedics.
When asked if they had been able to determine it was a human heart he said: “The paramedics weren’t sure what they had, so they called us.
Huron County Coroner Dr. Jeff Harwood put the heart and bag in a cooler and the next day, it was transported for testing.
He said in a separate interview the heart was in pretty good condition,” but it “had an odor of decomposition to it.”
Dr Harwood added: “They wanted to do some tests on the fluid to see if it’s a preservative."
