Restaurant owner jailed for 12 years for premeditated revenge attack
SHOCKING footage shows a diner boss taking practise swings with a baseball bat before brutally battering his head chef.
Owner Ahmet Dincer blamed the cook and a waitress for the failure of his Birmingham tapas diner and launched a savage attack before trying to torch the restaurant.

Dincer was jailed for 12 years at Birmingham Crown Court after being convicted of wounding with intent, attempted wounding with intent, attempted arson and possession of an imitation firearm with intent.
Video obtained by theshows the crazed owner of Don Diego restaurant, in Sutton Coldfield, preparing for the arrival of his victim, Carlos Tirado.
He can be seen arriving with a baseball bat and and making repeated practise swings.
When Mr Tirado arrives Dincer moves to attack him. The victim fights back and Dincer is seen retreating while pointing what appears to be gun at his victim.
Shortly after Dincer, 62, of Chances Street Edgbaston splashes diesel around the restaurant and tries to set light to it.
Dincer, who also had petrol bombs in his car, can be seen with a head wound in the footage.

Judge Patrick Thomas QC said Dincer had developed the “entirely unreasonable” opinion that the two employees were responsible for the restaurant’s failure.
But, the court had earlier heard that Dincer’s wife had confessed to stealing money from the business.
The judge told him: “I do not think you blamed them for the disappearance of the money, although it may be you were not even thinking sufficiently clearly to even excuse them from that.
“But you also developed an entirely unreasonable attitude that they had co-ordinated their resignations, with others, in order to bring the business down.
"The fact is you had not been paying them for the work they had done. Following the collapse of the business around Valentine’s weekend, you decided you were going to get revenge on them.”
Mr Tirado and waitress Monica Lopez escaped the March 8 attack.
Malcolm Morse, prosecuting, had earlier alleged that Dincer intended to beat his victims unconscious before leaving them in the burning restaurant.
Rob Cowley, defending, said: “The offences, although premeditated, were at a particular stage in his life when he felt he had lost everything.
"His marriage had gone wrong and his wife had left him. His life’s savings had been invested in that business and he was left with nothing.”
Dincer, 62, of Edgbaston, had previously admitted wounding Mr Tirado with intent and possessing an imitation firearm with intent.
A jury cleared him of two charges of attempted murder but found him guilty of attempted wounding with intent.
He was also cleared of two charges of attempted arson with intent to endanger life but was convicted of two counts of attempted arson.
Judge Thomas extended the time Dincer would remain on licence after his release by five years and awarded Mr Tirado £100 out of public funds in recognition of the bravery he had shown.
