Lieutenant General Chun In-bum, who retired in July as Deputy Commander of South Korea’s First Army, believes the dictator is pushing his luck and the world towards bloodshed.

He said: “Kim Jong Un is acting exactly like Hitler did in the late 30s.

“He’d better stop at a certain point, though, because if he goes any further, the end is very clear; tragedy is very clear.

“I hope he has the common sense to not start to believe in his own rhetoric – and this is where it scares me.

Gen Chun told that North Korea’s fifth and most powerful nuclear test last week showed “irrationality and recklessness,”

And he said said that just like Germany, if North Korea does push the world into a war there is “no way that they are going to win”.

Tensions have been mounting in the region since last Friday’s mega nuke test.

But despite the worldwide condemnation and outrage, North Korea held a mass ‘Nazi-style’ rally in its capital Pyongyang to celebrate the nuclear test.

The country’s state-run television, KRT, aired footage yesterday showing thousands of residents moving in time

High-ranking government officials and soldiers also attended the rally, where the rogue state’s nuclear programme was hailed a great success.
