iPhone 7 superfans queue up outside Apple Store in Berlin TWO DAYS before the handset is released

QUEUES resembling campsites have formed outside flagship Apple Stores in Berlin and New York as tech-geeks get ready for the release of the iPhone 7.
The latest version of the iconic smartphone will go on sale on Friday yet people have reportedly been queuing at NY’s Fifth Avenue store since August 25.
According to Bloomberg News reporter Harvard Zhang, people are paid over £2,500 to hold spots in the infamous queues which are now a hallmark of any major iPhone launch.
He tweeted: "First guy came Aug. 25. Line-sitter said he got paid $3,400 for a week."
Apple’s mega-store on Berlin’s Kurfuerstendamm Boulevard also has tent-inhabiting phone-fans camping outside in anticipation of the much-publicised handset.
But for gadget-dorks who aren’t keen on queuing for days, or even weeks, a mobile network in New Zealand is giving its first 100 customers a robot to stand in line for them.
The patient little bots, named ‘Alpha 1’, are controlled by an app and all have their own smartphone attached to their bellies.
One of the biggest changes on the latest iPhone is the ditched headphone jack.
Apple will be sending headsets with bluetooth in-ear headphones instead of the former style.
The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will also be water-resistant with an IPX67 rating – meaning hardware can withstand being dunked in up to 1 metre of water for 30 minutes.
Creators have also introduced a new colour on top of the usual Black, Gold, Silver and Rose Gold.
'Jet Black' is much darker than previous black models.
The home button will no longer be 'button', but a vibration-based taptic feedback system.
It will now vibrate when touched to give users feedback.
