'WE'RE HITTING MOSCOW'

Donald Trump boasts he threatened ‘friend’ Vladimir Putin with claim US would bomb Moscow if Russia attacked Ukraine

DONALD Trump has claimed Russia didn’t invade Ukraine while he was president because he threatened to bomb Moscow.

The former Republican president, 75, made the comments to pro-golfer John Daly Friday, saying he “got along great” with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

“They’re all saying oh he’s a nuclear power, it’s like they’re afraid of him,” Trump said in a recording of the phone conversation with Daly. “You know, he was a friend of mine, I got along great with him. I say, Vladimir, if you do it, we’re hitting Moscow. We’re going to hit Moscow. And he sort of believed me like 5 per cent, 10 per cent – that’s all you need.”

“He never did it during my time John, you know. They were all talking about it, ‘Why didn’t he do this during the last four years?’ Because he knew he couldn’t.”

Trump also claimed Xi Jinping, the president of China, also didn’t mess with him.

“Xi didn’t bother me either. I told him the same thing, that that’ll be next. You know that’s going to be next. Taiwan will be next,” he said.

“You won’t have any computer chips. They’ll blow them off the face of the earth.”

The Taiwanese fear Putin’s invasion of Ukraine could trigger a Chinese invasion of their homeland.

Trump was spotted playing golf Friday at his West Palm Beach course, along with a number of partners.

Taking to the greens, along with the 45th President were Allan Kournikova, the Russian-born half brother of former pro tennis player Anna Kournikova; golf coach Eduardo Miquel, and Chilean PGA golfers Mito Pereira and Joaquin Miemann.

Trump was also seen last Friday golfing at his West Palm Beach club, ahead of his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

During that speech, Trump repeatedly claimed Putin would not have invaded Ukraine while he was in the White House.

“I stand as the only president of 21st Century on whose watch Russia did not invade,” Trump boasted.

“Under Bush, Russia invaded Georgia. Under Obama, Russia took Crimea. Under Biden, Russia invaded Ukraine.”

“I have no doubt Putin made his decision to ruthlessly invade Ukraine after watching pathetic withdrawal from Afghanistan.”

“I was with Putin a lot, I spent a lot of time with him, I got along with him,” Trump added. “It’s a good thing to get along with people, it’s not a bad thing.”

It comes as:

“It would have been so easy for me to stop this travesty from happening,” Trump continued. “He understood me, he understood I didn’t play games.”

Trump also said in a recent statement: “There should be no war waging now in Ukraine, and it is terrible for humanity that Biden, NATO, and the West have failed so terribly in allowing it to start.

How Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has been unfolding

“Instead of showing strength and toughness, they declared the Global Warming Hoax as the #1 threat to global security, killed American Energy Independence, and then made Europe, the Uz, and the rest of the World dependent on Russian oil.

“They laid down the welcome mat and gave Russia the opening, now Putin may be getting everything he wanted, with Ukraine and the rest of the World suffering the consequences.”
