Prince Charles crashes into a DEER at Balmoral leaving his car badly damaged
Source says heir to the thrown was shaken but not injured
PRINCE Charles is "shaken"; but unharmed after his car was involved in a collision with a deer at the royal estate of Balmoral.
The Prince of Wales' Audi A4 Allroad Estate was reportedly so badly damaged that a specialist mechanic had to be dispatched to the Highlands estate.
The crash happened in the Queen's estate in the Scottish Highlands in the last few days, the has reported.
A Clarence House spokesman refused to comment on the crash, believed to have happened while the prince was driving.
The heir to the throne is believed to have been enjoying a break from official duties.

A source told the Mirror that the car was "badly damaged" and the prince was shaken but not injured.
The source said: “Red Deer are a hazard on the roads up here and most drivers have had a brush with them at some point.
“Charles is a careful driver but sometimes they dash out on the road and there’s little you can do. He’ll have got a hell of a fright.”
Balmoral will host a royal gathering this week, with guests including Prince William the Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Charlotte and Prince George.
Princess Anne is also at the estate after a chest infection forced her to cancel royal engagements.
