Moment drunk passenger is thrown off Glasgow to Ibiza flight after he forced plane to divert to French airport

A plane on the way to Ibiza was forced to make an emergency landing in Toulouse after a passenger vomited in the cabin and was removed by French police

A PLANE to Ibiza was forced to make an emergency landing after a man was sick in the cabin and became aggressive.

French police escorted the trouble maker off the ASL Airlines France Boeing 737 after it touched down in Toulouse after taking off from Glasgow, yesterday afternoon.

The flight had sent out an emergency call at 5.30pm on Wednesday, after flying for two hours.

A video by a fellow passenger shows the drunk man being taken off the plane, flanked by air stewards.

Witnesses said the pilot decided to briefly change course after the man was sick and became aggressive.

The plane landed at Toulouse-Blagnac airport.

He was taken into custody by French police and the flight continued.

A spokeswoman for Thomson Airways told the : “We would like to apologise for the inconvenience to our customers on flight FPO 809T from Glasgow to Ibiza operated by a partner airline, which diverted to Toulouse as a result of a disruptive passenger.

“Passenger and crew safety is our priority at all times therefore we, along with our partner airlines, operate a zero tolerance policy to any behaviour of this kind."

Twitter user 'The Navy Blue' tweeted about his daughter's experience on the flight.

He said: "Daughter on Air Franc flight to Ibiza has emergency landed in Toulouse. Young boy pished and spewed is currently got flung off, sore one."

Four “drunk” women were chucked off a flight from Manchester to Ibiza on Tuesday night after “being racist, rude and threatening other passengers”.
