Tragic teen killed herself after becoming ‘deeply upset’ about the actions of ISIS
Natasha Kasanda, 19, was found dead in her dorm room, believed to have injected herself with a syringe full of poison after seeing videos of innocent children dying in war-zones
A TEENAGE girl killed herself with a syringe filled with poison after telling her family she was heartbroken over the Islamic State's reign of terror, an inquest has heard.
Natasha Kasanda, 19, was found dead in her University of Hull dorm room just weeks after starting her mechanical engineering degree in 2014.
Remembered as "warm and caring", the young student had injected herself with an unknown, toxic substance with the inquest at Hull's Coroner's Court hearing that the young woman had been plagued by the "demons" of mental health problems.
Her mother Tasheni Makumbi-Monk told the inquest: "One time, I remember so well, she was so upset because she watched a video of innocent children dying and it really haunted her.
"She said to me, 'The world is full of bad things. Why is it the people that don't want to die, get killed, and those that want to die, can't?' She was talking about herself, of course."

Natasha was found dead on the morning of November 7 2014 at Taylor Court, the university’s on campus student flat complex.
Coroner Paul Marks ruled that even though the cause of the young woman's death was unexplained, she had intended to take her own life.
He said he was not satisfied with the actions of mental health psychiatrists and counsellors with the sessions with Natasha ending when a counsellor thought the young woman had stopped responding.
Prof Marks questioned why the young woman's treatments had been stopped so soon after her suicide attempt.
He told her family that if they were unsatisfied by the care their daughter had received, they could pursue legal action elsewhere.
