Leyden was last seen alive entering Marcelin's Brooklyn apartment on February 27.

Three days later, Marcelin was captured leaving her apartment, wheeling the bag Leyden had entered with.

Marcelin was allegedly caught on camera ditching human remains in her neighborhood, according to the New York Post.

When a search warrant was performed on Marcelin's apartment, a human head was allegedly found.

Cops also recovered saws that Marcelin purchased from Home Depot.

Leyden's torso was recovered a block from Marcelin's apartment. It was allegedly in the same bag Leyden had brought and Marcelin was spotted leaving her apartment with.

Days later, the woman's leg was found a few blocks away. Her arm is still reportedly missing.

Marcelin could face additional charges relating to Leyden's murder, adding to an already lengthy rap sheet.

She previously served multiple stints behind bars from being convicted of murder and manslaughter.

The first conviction dates back to 1963, according to state prison records.

Marcelin allegedly shot her live-in girlfriend, Jacqueline Bonds, on April 18, 1963 inside the apartment the couple shared.

She was sentenced to 20 years-to-life in that crime, but was released in May 1984 on lifetime parole, prison records show.

Then, she was charged in the fatal stabbing of another live-in girlfriend less than a year after being released.

Marcelin was charged in 1986 with first-degree manslaughter.

In 2019, she was Cayuga Correctional Facility in upstate New York. Prior to her release, she reportedly admitted during a parole hearing that she had 'a problem with women,' the New York Post reports.

Marcelin is currently being held at Riker's Island without bail. The case remains under investigation.
