Holidaymaker kicked off Manchester to Ibiza flight over ‘race row’ with three friends ‘was not being racist’
Naomi Watts was just "caught up" in the drama but one girl DID make a racist comment according to a relative
FOUR girls chucked off a flight from Manchester to Ibiza were boozed up but did not hurl racist abuse at other passengers, a relative claims.
All four were taken off Monarch flight ZB504 on Tuesday evening after the captain and crew called police to report them "hurling abuse at others on board".
Four separate groups of passengers asked to change seats to avoid the rowdy group, who were reportedly being "racist" and "threatening" towards other holidaymakers.
Furious flyer Amber Louise Ferguson, 25, shared a Facebook post slamming the girls' "disgusting" behaviour.
But a relative insisted Naomi and a friend, named only as Hannah, had not been involved in the argument and were just "caught up" in the drama.
She claimed the women, all aged in their early 20s, had been trying to calm another friend down, who she says did make a racist comment, and that all of the pals were "very drunk" at the time.
I'm not saying that the girls weren't drunk because they were very drunk but they were taken off the plane because of an argument and not because they were drunk or made racist comments.
A relative of flyer Naomi Watts
The relative, who asked not to be named, told : "One of the girls has said "sit down" to the woman making the complaint and she has said something back and it has blown up from there.
"I don't think it was just them arguing - I think that the whole back of the plane was arguing - but the four of them have been taken off.
"They were not arrested, the captain asked for them to be taken off the plane.
"Only one of the girls has made a racist comment and it wasn't Naomi and once they have gotten off the plane, Naomi has had a row with the girl who kicked things off so they weren't on speaking terms."
"I'm not saying that the girls weren't drunk because they were very drunk but they were taken off the plane because of an argument and not because they were drunk or made racist comments.
"But it has just been blown all out of proportion and Naomi has ended up being linked to something that she has not done."
Naomi, who works in sales, was travelling to Ibiza with her friends for a week of end-of-season parties. It is thought they were moved on to a later flight after cops took no further action against them.
We heard them say they would wait until the seat-belt signs were off and then start fighting with all the passengers who asked them to be quiet.
Amber Ferguson
A source told The Sun Online that there was "a lot of shouting" about Nike Air Force 1 trainers during the row.
Amber Louise Ferguson shared pictures of the group on Tuesday's flight slamming them for their behaviour.
She said: "Anyone know these three girls?? Just delayed our plane to Ibiza, they've been racist, making rude comments & threatening people!
"If you know them or are related to them you should be ashamed to know such disgusting human beings!!
"Luckily for them the police came and took them off the flight because I got told I don't know who I'm dealing with (hahaha okay!)
"Our friend who's flying is extremely nervous & it's his first time flying and he had to sit right in front of them being harassed!
"It's disgusting! I'd love to be reunited with them and see if they're as brave without any alcohol!".
Monarch confirmed four passengers had been taken off the flight on Tuesday.
Speaking from Ibiza, Amber said the women threatened to "deal with her" when she complained about their behaviour to an air hostess.

She told the : "I think their behaviour was disgusting, everyone on the way to Ibiza gets merry and loud but it's usually just fun banter.
"They took it to a whole other level by using extremely racist words and threatening people.

Amber said the girls racially abused a man sitting in front of them who asked them to stop arguing.
The 25-year-old described the foursome's behaviour as "unacceptable, childish and uneducated".
She added: "The girls should be utterly ashamed and disgusted with themselves.
"It could have ended up being a very dangerous fight."
Amber was travelling to the Spanish island with three pals, two of whom had never flown before.
She said the girls began verbally attacking her two friends when they asked to be moved away from them.
Amber explained: "We heard them say they would wait until the seat-belt signs were off and then start fighting with all the passengers who asked them to be quiet."
Shockingly she has since received a comment on her Facebook post claiming the same girls were badly behaved on an Amsterdam-bound flight in February.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman confirmed they were called to the incident but didn't take any further action against the girls.
A spokesman for Monarch confirmed four passengers were removed from the 158 capacity flight.
He added: "Monarch takes a zero tolerance approach to disruptive behaviour on board all our flights.
"The safety and security of our passengers, crew and aircraft is our absolute priority."
