Astonishing moment a cloud shaped exactly like the Angel of the North appeared
Producer Ian MacLeod says he can see the pair rekindling their romance - even though Cain's still involved with local vicar Harriet
WHY aye don't believe it! This is the incredible moment a single cloud in the sky appeared in the shape of the Angel of the North.
Ruth Crowley captured the remarkable image, which resembles the iconic landmark in Tyne and Wear, yesterday in Kent.
The 52-year-old was enjoying a coffee on holiday in Sandwich Bay with mum Sheila Crowley, 82, and sister Sarah Davies, 50, when she looked up to see the angel form in the sky.
Ruth, an occupational therapist, from London, says that the beautiful image 'remained in the formation for around five minutes' before it disappeared.
She said: "Yesterday we were walking along the Sandwich Bay when all of a sudden I looked up and saw the Angel of the North."
She continued: "While I have never seen it in real life, I knew exactly what it was straight away.
"Me, my sister and my mum were in awe, it was such a beautiful sight.
"While the world goes through these dark times, it was just something positive. We were so lucky to spot it."
The Angel of the North is a contemporary sculpture, designed by Sir Antony Gormley, and is situated in Tyne and Wear, north east England.
It is said that the sculpture was designed to serve as a focus for society's evolving hopes and fears.
Every year, Ruth and Sarah take elderly mum Sheila on a holiday in the Kent area.
This is the first time they have ever seen the clouds form into anything.
Ruth said: "I've never seen anything like this before, I was absolutely stunned."
