AN EIGHTY-year-old former Butlin's Redcoat battling Alzheimer's disease has landed a record deal - after his son posted 'carpool karaoke-style' videos of him online.
Now Ted McDermott - known as the Songaminute Man - is to release the apt Frank Sinatra hit 'You Make Me Feel So Young'.

Mr McDermott was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2013 but son Simon soon discovered that singing helped his father cope with the disease.
While Mr McDermott, of Blackburn, sometimes has difficulty recognising his son he still remembers the words to many songs.
When Simon posted YouTube videos of the pair online to increase awareness for the Alzheimer's Society they went viral and in the process raised £114,000 for the charity.
They also came to the attention of Decca Records.who promptly invited the octogenarian to a recording session.
The resulting single is out on September 23, with proceeds going to the Alzheimer's Society and the McDermott family.

Simon McDermott said: "This is a dream come true not only for dad, but for the entire family. There have been some really tough days in the last few years - especially for mum.
"We threw an 80th birthday party last month and thought that would be his last time singing solo for people, so it's amazing to think he now has a single coming out.
"And it's great to help the Alzheimer's Society who provide so much help and support to other families going through the same things as us."
The former Redcoat's version of You Make Me Feel So Young was recorded in London with the Guy Barker Big Band and then mixed at Abbey Road Studios.
Decca music executive Alexander Van Ingen said: "Teddy's voice is truly remarkable for any singer, let alone one 80 years of age."
'Quando Quando Quando' - one of the most popular numbers Ted and his son were seen singing in their car - will be released as a B-side.
