A MAN who shouted "black lives matter" at police as he filmed himself being arrested for allegedly not wearing a seatbelt has been charged with possession of drugs after the video appeared to show him hiding cocaine in his pocket.

Dominique Desha Green captured himself being pulled over by cops because he said he "feared for his life".

But police say he accidentally admitted to hiding the class A drug on the Facebook Live stream.

The 24-year-old could be heard saying he had "all kinds of s*** in his pocket" before police approached his window.

He was pulled over in Dallas, Texas last week after he was spotted for the alleged traffic violation.

But in in the thirteen minute video uploaded live on Facebook, Green said the cops had racist motives.

"They're just f******  with me because I'm young, black ... and on the wrong side of the neighbourhood," Green said.

He can then be seen climbing out of his car and shouting "black lives matter, n*****" -- a reference to the protest group of the same name.

Investigators later spotted the film online and found cocaine.
