Toys R Us reveal 2016’s must-have Christmas toys – from Furby Connect to CHiP the robot dog

KIDS superstore chain Toys R Us has unveiled its list of the "must have" toys they expect to fly off the shelves this Christmas.

Experts have claimed there will be a hard-fought battle between technology toys, collectables and character-based products.

Toys R Us have published their "Superstars" guide with prices starting at £19.99 for a SelfieMic and rising to £200 for a Robotic dog called CHiP.

Children's favourites LEGO, Nerf, Shopkins and Num Noms have all been listed, along with pre-school favourites Thomas the Tank and Paw Patrol.

The chain has said their sales peak in the run-up to Christmas when their catalogue is launched in November.

To make Christmas a little bit easier on their customer's finances Toys R Us have introduced a repayment scheme, allowing customers to spread out the costs of presents over a maximum of 12 weeks.

Under the scheme you pick want you want to buy, pay a 20% deposit to reserve the items, and then decide whether you want to pay off the cost over four, eight, or twelve weeks.
