Jewellery designer mum-of-two to stand trial for murder of boyfriend who was knifed to death at London flat
Elizabeth Hart-Browne, 27, is said to have knifed Stephen Raynor, 25, in the neck at their West London flat
A MUM-of-two accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death will stand trial for murder next year.
Jewellery designer Elizabeth Hart-Browne, 27, is said to have knifed Stephen Raynor, 25, in the neck at their West London flat.
The 27-year-old appeared at the Old Bailey today via video link from Bronzefield prison for a short hearing.
Wearing a grey knitted jumper and with brown hair, Hart-Browne spoke only to confirm her name and quietly sobbed during the hearing.
Judge Joanna Cutts QC fixed a provisional trial date for March 6 next year.
A plea and case management hearing was fixed for December 7.
No application for bail was made and Hart-Browne, of Hanwell, west London, was remanded in custody.
Neighbours saw Stephen stagger outside barefoot and in his boxers at 11pm last Saturday.
One said she tried to stem the bleeding from his neck wound and screamed for neighbours to help before an ambulance arrived.
Stephen, who worked in a call centre, died in hospital an hour later.
The couple's two-year-old son and her daughter from a previous relationship were asleep inside at the time of the alleged attack, friends said.
Hart-Browne, who works in Shepherd's Bush, West London, was arrested at the scene in Hanwell and charged with murder late last night.
Stephen had recently started a new job in a telesales call centre before he died.
