"Remember!!! - They are afraid and respect only power!!!," the opposition politician wrote on Telegram under a picture of a nuclear explosion.

"Zelensky, his entourage and western curators are most afraid of a Russian pre-emptive strike (with) weapons of mass destruction.

"Only this can put an end to today's confrontation, not only with the Ukrainian authorities, but with the entire West which actively and already openly takes part today in the military conflict in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Volodymyr Zelensky has warned the West must prepare for a Russian nuclear doomsday by stockpiling anti-radiation drugs and building shelters.

The battle-hardened leader told  Putin could use tactical nukes if his war in Ukraine continues to stall.

Zelensky told the outlet on Friday: "We shouldn't wait for the moment when Russia decides to use nuclear weapons... We must prepare for that."

"All of the world, all of the countries have to be worried because it can be not real information, but it can be truth," Ukraine's head of state said.

"Chemical weapons, they should do it, they could do it, for them the life of the people, nothing. That's why.

"We should think not be afraid, not be afraid but be ready. But that is not a question for Ukraine, not only for Ukraine but for all the world, I think."

It comes as Putin's forces hit more than 300 Ukrainian military targets overnight in the first major missile strike in weeks.
