Angry Scots mob surround alleged paedophile’s home as police rush to scene
AN ANGRY mob has descended on the home of an alleged paedophile in a Scots town.
Dozens of locals surrounded the home in Moodiesburn, North Lanarkshire, as cops raced to the scene.
A number of police vehicles surrounded the home as the dramatic scene unfolded.
A police dog could be seen barking as passing cars beeped horns and the crowd continued to yell.
A person could be seen getting into a police van.
The gathered crowd cheered as the police vehicle quickly left the scene.
An onlooker told the Scottish Sun: "We're a great a community coming together to protect its children and people from such vile people."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a disturbance on Cumbernauld Road, Moodiesburn, around 6.10pm on Monday, 2 May, 2022.
"No arrests were made and no-one was injured. Enquiries are ongoing into the damage caused."
