Urgent warning as prisoner escapes from jail and police warn ‘do NOT approach’
POLICE have issued an urgent warning after a prisoner escaped from jail.
William Javoric fled from HMP Leyhill open prison in Tortworth, Gloucs.
The 61-year-old was spotted on CCTV in Bristol city centre on Wednesday morning.
Police have urged the public not to approach Javoric and instead call 999 immediately if they see him.
The prisoner has been described as 5ft 8in tall with a large build and grey hair.
He was last seen wearing a black Nike T-shirt, black jogging bottoms and grey Skechers trainers.

Avon and Somerset Police have now released two images of the fugitive - including the CCTV image from Bristol.
The force said: "We need your help to find a man who has absconded from HMP Leyhill open prison.
"If you see William Javoric please don't approach but call 999 quoting reference 5222105521."
