Annastasia 'Annie' Hester was an Oregon native born in 1981.
To most, she was an ordinary woman who stayed out of trouble, but she made headlines in 2016 after she called 911 to report that she had been attacked in her apartment.

When the dispatcher asked where she had been stabbed, she replied, “All over … Oh God.”
After authorities arrived at her Gresham apartment, they found her with multiple stab wounds and quickly rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Who killed Annastasia Hester?
Following Hester's death, a police investigation was opened, which lasted for more than a year.
It was not until 2017 that police arrested Angela McCraw-Hester in connection with her death.
McCraw-Hester is the wife of Matthew Hester, Annastasia's ex-husband and the father of her daughter.
