The black and white video is posted from an aerial view and starts by showing a helicopter on the ground.

Kremlin troops can be seen leaving the helicopter moments before Ukrainian TB-2 drones drop their munitions.

Video footage then cuts to a long-range shot that shows the aftermath of the blast with smoke billowing as the drone navigates away from Snake Island.

It is not yet known if there were any casualties or injuries from the blast and the clip is not dated.

It comes after another reported Ukrainian drone strike yesterday wiped out a Russian landing ship on the same island in the Black Sea.

The large Serna-type landing ship was reportedly supplying a TOR anti-aircraft missile system.

Ukrainian official Anton Gerashchenko said: “Enemy units remaining on Snake Island remain without air cover and will be destroyed and burned out like cockroaches or locusts."

In the video, a drone appears to be locking onto a target before unleashing its powerful cargo on the unsuspecting Russians.

Thick black smoke was seen rising overhead in satellite photos in the aftermath of the strike.

Reports said the landing craft had been hit by a hit by a Ukrainian Bayraktar TB2 military drone.

However, the footage of the strike on the vessel was not dated and in the aftermath, people were seen moving about on the vessel.

The consecutive airstrikes are yet another blow to Putin who has sustained heavy losses in his invasion of Ukraine.
