Hacker posts ‘revenge porn’ images of 20 girls to message board leaving victims devastated
A HACKER has leaked intimate pictures of at least 20 young women after stealing images from their iCloud accounts.
The naked snaps – meant for their partners only – have been posted on a popular file sharing website.
The revenge porn campaign has been targeted at women from the same area of Scotland.
One victim said she felt “sick to her stomach” after the explicit photos emerged online on sites including Facebook, the reports.
The 22-year-old, from Motherwell, said she burst into tears when she saw nude pictures of herself plastered under a section named “Scottish Amateurs”.

The photos were taken on her mobile phone two years ago and shared only with her long-term boyfriend at the time.
The victim said: “When I got a Facebook message telling me there were pictures of me online, I didn’t think it was real.
“When I logged on, I instantly felt sick to my stomach when I saw them. They were pictures I’d taken years ago. My name was written right beside them.
“There were lots of nasty comments, with people calling me an escort and a prostitute.”
The 22-year-old was one of more than 20 women from across Lanarkshire who claim to have been targeted by the same person.
She said: “When I saw them I felt totally humiliated.
“They were pictures taken for the person I loved, not for the whole world to see and judge me.
“It’s horrendous to see your body exposed like that without your consent.
“These pictures were something I did when I was much younger.
“I quickly started getting messages on Facebook from other girls that I knew, saying they had also been targeted in the same way.
“We are all devastated.”
Police told them there was little they could do to remove the web pages because they were hosted in foreign countries.
One woman was told the issue had been passed to their cyber crime unit and that they would contact computer giants Apple in a bid to trace the hacker.
But it has been reported the file-sharing site is still active.
The 22-year-old added: “None of us has any idea who would want to hurt and humiliate us like this.”
Conservative MSP Alex Johnstone said: “This is a despicable offence, an atrocious breach of privacy, and should be dealt with severely.
“We keep hearing from Police Scotland that they are getting tough on cyber crime. But unless culprits like this are caught and punished heavily, no one will believe that.”
Police Scotland said: “We advise everyone to be extremely careful when sharing sensitive images on any form of social media.
“If anyone has been affected by this phone hacking, contact Police Scotland on 101 or visit your local station.”
