BAD weather has forced the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to cancel some elements of their visit to the Canadian wilderness.
Day three of the royal tour has brought heavy rain and strong winds, which has meant Prince William and Kate did not be taking a sea plane tour of the Great Bear Rainforest, but instead arrived at the Bella Bella First Nations settlement by boat.

A Kensington Palace spokesman said: "It is still a beautiful place in the rain and everyone is prepared to get wet.
"It's just that some of the programme elements are weather-dependant.
"The weather forecast has meant that we have unfortunately had to make the call to cancel the float plane tour of the rainforest.
"Their Royal Highnesses will instead arrive at the Bella Bella breakwater by boat.
"Hopefully the rest of their programme will remain unchanged."
The island community greeted the royals with a traditional welcoming ceremony and a cultural sharing ceremony by the Jeiltsuk First Nations community and Bella Bella Community School.
From there they were guided by young people through Bella Bella to the community centre and watched a youth performance.
After viewing some of the new walking trails the Duke and Duchess will return to Victoria by boat.
