The nurse can also be seen enjoying a girls’ cocktail night out with pals and on another occasion with her mum in pictures from her open Facebook profile.

The woman, who lives in the West Midlands, is said to be staying with relatives and yesterday remained suspended from her job at the hospital.

Friends said she has always been “incredibly close” to her mum, who still lives in the town where the suspect grew up.

Cops are continuing the investigation with colleagues expected to be approached by detectives at the hospital — one of the UK’s leading specialist paediatric centres.

Detectives swooped on a house on Thursday evening to arrest the woman just hours after the young child died.

West Midlands Police last night said it had no updates.

A spokesman had previously stated: “We have arrested a 27-year-old woman in connection with the death of an infant.

“The child sadly passed away on Thursday at hospital.

“The woman was arrested on Thursday evening at a property in the West Midlands area on suspicion of administering poison with intent to endanger life.

“She has been released while the investigation continues and the results of forensic tests are examined. The family of the child are being supported by specially trained officers.”

The suspect’s dad refused to speak when approached by The Sun.
