A MOM’S body has been found in a recycling bin underneath her back porch, sparking a police probe.
Barbara Novaes, 61, was reported missing by her adult son just after 6:30am on Monday after he told cops in Massachusetts that he couldn’t find her.
The man, presumed to be in his 20s, last saw his mom on Sunday and thought she was going for a nail appointment, Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan said.
But, when he woke up, he found the front door of their Medford home ajar and spotted his mom’s car in the driveway, reports.
Novaes’ son also found her car keys and purse.
Cops rushed to the scene and they found Novaes's body in a recycling bin underneath the back porch of her home at around 8:30am.

She added: “She (Novaes) was friendly with everyone on the street and always stopped to say hello and strike up the conversation.
'THE SWEETEST WOMAN'
“She would have been wanting to know what was going on and then letting everyone know. That’s who she was.”
Officials say there will be an increased police presence in the area.
Ryan said: “People should obviously exercise the same caution that we would urge them to exercise all the time – keeping your doors locked, being cautious of who’s around the house.”
Locals have been left stunned following the discovery.
Neighbor Aubrey Vannasse told "I moved to this area specifically because it's very safe so it is kind of shocking."
And, Leslie Kramer said: "It's pretty startling and it's sad. There's (sic) all kinds of mysteries, all kinds of questions."
The home is near the Tufts University campus and college students told that they have noticed more cops in the area.
