Ryanair flight lands safely after cockpit warning light indicated fault during flight

A RYANAIR flight that declared a fault while flying over the Irish Sea has landed safely at Dublin Airport.

The flight was travelling from Edinburgh to Dublin.

Flight #FR817 was due to land in at 3.15pm but experienced problems before reaching Ireland.

A Ryanair spokesman said: “The crew of this flight from Edinburgh to Dublin today contacted local ATC (in line with procedures) after a cockpit warning light indicated a possible minor technical issue prior to landing.

"The aircraft landed normally and customers disembarked. The aircraft is currently being inspected by Ryanair engineers and will be returned to service shortly.”
