Young woman, 19, ‘left unconscious in the street after being run over by moped riding thugs when she ignored their catcalls’
The teenager has criticised police over their investigation after the case against a suspect was dropped
A YOUNG woman was run down and left in the street for dead by moped-riding thugs - because she ignored their catcalls.
Pagan Lilley Motlagh-Phillips claims she was out walking with her brother in Rainham, east London, after a shopping trip when the men pulled out of an alleyway and began shouting out at her, trying to get her attention.
According to cops, when the 19-year-old refused to respond to their jeers of "you alright darling?" one of the men allegedly threatened the siblings - before reversing back up the road and deliberately charging towards them down the pavement.
The teenager, who lives in East Ham, east London, says she managed to push her 18-year-old brother out of harm's way - but she was knocked off her feet and thrown across the street when one of the bikes hit her.
Shockingly Pagan Lilley, who ran in the race for young mayor of Newham and who now works for the local council, claims the sick thug even REVERSED back over her - leaving her with internal bruising.
After feeling let down by how cops investigated the brutal attack which took place at around 9.30pm on June 6, the teenager took to social media to describe her ordeal.
In a series of tweets, she wrote: "He (one of the bikers) drove up the road to gain more speed then drove straight into me. Just in case I wasn’t already in enough pain he reversed over my unconscious body and drove off.
"He did this in daylight on a summer’s afternoon outside a supermarket with no care if the police caught him or I died. All because I wouldn’t talk to them."
Following the horrific assault, Pagan Lilley was rushed to the hospital at Lakeside shopping centre where medics found she had suffered internal bruising before she was transferred to another hospital for further treatment.
