THE suspect behind the deadly Tulsa hospital shooting that killed four left a shocking note blaming his surgeon for an alleged botched back surgery, it has been revealed.
Suspect Michael Louis stormed into the Natalie Building at St Francis Hospital in on Wednesday with "the intent to kill" his surgeon Dr Preston Phillips, police said.
Investigators revealed on Thursday that Louis left behind a note where he blamed Dr Phillips for the ongoing pain he experienced after his surgery.
“Tulsa Police called me and verified that it’s my uncle,” Louis' niece told . “We are so distraught.”
The family member declined to be named, citing the “heinous” nature of the crime.
“I don’t even want to be associated because I’m so disgusted,” she told the Beast.

“It’s just so shocking. Like, if he had killed himself, okay. But those innocent people, that’s what I’m hurting about.”
“This is really crazy. Like, this is shocking… No one in our family, like nobody in our family, has this type of behavior. No one,” the niece told the outlet.
Officials have yet to disclose what Louis' note said.

However, over the course of several weeks, Louis called Phillips' office multiple times complaining of back pain and sought further treatment, Tulsa PD Chief Wendell Franklin said.
Dr Phillips saw the suspect for additional treatment on May 24, but the pain allegedly continued.
On June 1, Louis again phoned the doctor to complain about back pain and wanted more help.
That same day, Chief Franklin said Louis legally purchased an AR-15-style rifle two hours before he went to St Francis Hospital with the "intent to kill Phillips and anyone who got in the way."
The shooter's wife called police and said her husband contacted her either right before the shooting or during the shooting to let her know what he was doing, Tulsa PD said at the press conference.
WALKED IN WITH THE 'INTENT TO KILL PHILLIPS'
The suspect also bought a semi-automatic handgun on May 29 from a local pawn shop.
Police entered the second floor of the Natalie Building at about 4.58pm and began shouting "Tulsa police".
Moments later, cops said they heard a gunshot, which they believe was the moment Louis took his own life.
When authorities entered the room, they rescued a woman who was hiding under a desk at the suspect's foot.
Officers found another victim next to the suspect and another down near a nurses' station. Dr Phillips was found dead in the exam room.
The other three victims were named Dr Stephanie Husen, receptionist Amanda Glenn and patient William Love. Fewer than 10 others were injured, authorities said.
