Man and woman killed and two others injured in horror smash after driver ‘left the road for unknown reasons’
A MAN and a woman have been killed in a horror smash after a car left the road.
Two others were also rushed to hospital following the crash in Rushden, Northamptonshire, last night.
The four were in a grey BMW which left the road at a roundabout just after 9.10pm.
The woman who died was in her 40s, while the man who lost his life was in his 20s.
Cops don't yet know why the car crashed.
Investigations into the tragedy are continuing today.

A spokesperson for the force said: “The incident occurred at about 9.10pm on Friday, June 3, when a grey BMW left the road for reasons not yet known.
"The single-vehicle collision happened at the roundabout junction with John Clark Way, Tyne Way and Spire Road.
“As a result of the collision, two of the occupants were sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"They were a woman in her 40s and a man in his 20s.

“A third occupant – a man in his 20s – was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"A fourth man, in his teens, sustained minor injuries and was released from hospital following treatment.”
