Here’s what happened when an iPhone 7 was dropped from the world’s tallest building

Brave vlogger puts his smartphone to the ultimate test by by throwing it from the 829-metre-high Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai

APPLE fans around the world are now experiencing the shuddering joy of running their mitts all over a shiny new iPhone 7.

But while many people might think it's a good idea to swaddle the gizmo in a nice safe case and treat it like a newborn baby, not every tech lover thinks the same way.

This is the epic view from the top of the Burj Khalifa
decided that his iPhone didn't need all that mollycoddling.

Tech Rax, a Ukrainian who "specialises in smashing technology for your pleasure", lobbed his gadget off the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai - which is the tallest building in the world and stretches to a height of 2,700 feet.

In his video, the vlogger said: "I'm going to go the 148th floor and frickin' drop test the iPhone 7 Plus.

"Security is 24/7 and I may not find this phone at all."
