A BIZARRE new conspiracy theory has rocked the internet claiming Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has been replaced by a ROBOT.

The under-fire democrat sparked yet more concerns for her health when she was spotted mechanically clapping as Bernie Sanders spoke on her behalf at a political rally.

Strange footage shows Hillary - dogged with rumours about her health - strangely applauding during her former rival's speech at the University of New Hampshire.

And many observers were quick to take to hit the internet to comment about the 68-year-old's apparent bizarre behaviour.

One user wrote: "I’m listening to Bernie speak and watching Hillary clap like a robot."

Another added: "Watch this video, it proves Hillary IS a robot: Hillary just keeps clapping and clapping…"

It is not the first time the internet has been hit by wacky suggestions Clinton may bean android.

Last week, we reported now a  video of her eyes darting from side-to-side also sparked rumours about her behaviour.

The candidate was speaking to Temple University students in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania last Monday.

But as she addressed her audience, her eyes appeared to be out of sync, especially as she looked to the left.

On Twitter, many users were open about their bizarre views, with one person wrote: "I think Hillary Clinton is actually a robot."

Another added: "So apparently Hillary Clinton is dead and she's been replaced with [a] robot."

Then a couple of days later baffled TV viewers have struggled to explain a mysterious object hidden under Hillary Clinton’s jacket during Monday’s presidential debate.

The far-fetched robot theories appear to stem from a tongue-in-cheek interview Hillary gave with back in 2015 when a reporter pointed out she never sweats..

Hillary said: "You guys are the first to realise that I'm really not even a human being. I was constructed in a garage in Palo Alto a very long time ago."

She then added: "I've seen more people that kind of don't sweat, and other things, that make me thing maybe they are part of the new race that he created: the robot race."
