The man had Hussain al-Jasmi’s popular 'We Are All Iraq' on his phone
AN IRAQI man was savagely beaten by ISIS brutes for having a popular Arabic peace song on his mobile phone.
His 'crime' was to listen to Hussain al-Jasmi’s song, 'We Are All Iraq', which urges Middle Easterners to unite behind the innocent civilians of the war-ravaged nation.

Iraqi news website Al Sumaria reported: "Today, ISIS found a song of the artist Hussain al-Jasmi on a civilian’s phone during a snap inspection at a security checkpoint in central Hawija (in the Kirkuk province of Iraq).
“The song sparked anger and resentment among ISIS militants, and pushed them to arrest the civilian and transfer him to a detention centre.

"ISIS prohibits listening to songs in general, and conducts sudden inspections on the civilians’ phones from time to time," Al Sumaria added.
The song performed by al-Jasmi, who is from the United Arab Emirates, has been viewed a staggering 16 million times on Youtube.

ISIS views any music which uses instrument as 'haram', or forbidden, under its twisted interpretation of Islam.
The terror group took control of Kirkuk province, including the areas of Hawija, al-Riyad, al-Abbasi, al-Zab and al-Bashir village, shortly after capturing Mosul in 2014.

The jihadis are losing their grip on Iraq, partly because of internal attacks from within the region's they control.
Recently a veiled woman whipped out a pistol and gunned down a pair of ISIS militants in the Iraqi city of Mosul.
Early in the morning the killer walked up to a checkpoint in the Numaniya neighborhood, pulled out her sidearm and killed the two men, according to the al-Sumaria TV network.
