TRAVEL chaos has hit Kent after a person reportedly fell on the lines at Gravesend station.
The person, believed to be a man, is said to have banged his head and cops are on the scene.
Southeastern trains tweeted to say that trains in the area are being delayed.
Power was cut to the tracks while the man was helped back onto the platform and the delays have now abated.
A spokesman for the company told : "An incident occurred at around 1pm this afternoon at Gravesend station. Emergency services were called to attend the scene."
A Kent Police spokesman added: "Kent Police was called at 1.02pm to reports of concern for the welfare of a man at Gravesend Railway Station.

Officers and South East Coast Ambulance are currently in attendance. No serious injuries are believed to have been reported."
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "We were called just after 1pm to a man who was taken unwell on the platform. He had fallen onto the tracks and has now been taken to hospital by ambulance."
