Shocked dog walkers discover body on the beach during their morning stroll
Eye-witnesses saw a number of police officers gathered at the Welsh beach after the body was discovered this morning
TWO shocked dog walkers found a dead body on a quiet Welsh beach this morning.
Police have said the death is not thought to be suspicious, but have taped off the area at Beach in north Wales.
People reported seeing a "huge" number of police officers on the beach this morning.
There were said to be about 12 officers there and several vehicles at the site. Two ambulances were sent by the Welsh Ambulance Service at 7.40am.
Police confirmed a body had been found and the relatives of the deceased knew.
Another dog walker, Steven Grice from nearby Rhos-on-Sea, told the : “I come here quite often to walk my dog, it’s a nice place to kill a couple of hours.

"The police are all over the place but they won’t tell me what has happened, one of them just said I could probably guess what had been found.
"If it’s a body then I’m very shocked and all my thoughts go to their family.”
A North Wales Police statement said: “Police were called at 7.31am today, to a report that a body had been found on Llanddulas Beach.
"Officers are trying to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident, but at this stage the death is not being treated as suspicious.
"The family of the deceased have been informed. There are no further details available at present.”
