AIRING DIRTY LAUNDRY

I was caught on camera cutting down my neighbour’s washing line – but I’d do it again

A WOMAN was repeatedly caught on camera cutting down her neighbour’s washing line – and has vowed to do it AGAIN.

Dawn Turner, 49, was filmed snipping Clare Patman’s clothes line, which is strung up on the fence between the two properties in Wakefield, West Yorks.

The mum was caught on camera time and time again

She has trimmed it with clothes still hanging on the line

But the mum-of-three insisted she is cutting down the washing line as it damages her fence, with cops called to the street over the row.

Speaking to the Sun Online, Dawn said: “She has strung that washing line on my fence and it has been damaging my fence, that is why I keep cutting it down.

“I have been in touch with the police and Leeds City Council, who own her house, and made numerous complaints about her.

“I have had it confirmed that it’s my fence and that she should not be stringing her washing line on it and causing it damage. It’s me that maintains it, not her.”

Her neighbour Clare declined to comment when approached by The Sun Online.

But sharing the video on TikTok, she said: “This is my neighbour, what would you do?”

Dawn hit back, saying: “If she puts it on my fence again I’ll be getting the scissors out again.

“Putting it on TikTok is just silly.”
