Shocking video shows how crowd gathered to film heroin addicts passed out in the street instead of helping them
HEROIN overdoses are said to be soaring in city where cops found this couple
DISTURBING footage shows a couple lying unconscious on a pavement having passed out on heroin ... but rather than help, passers-by laughed and streamed the scenes on social media.
Police have said the husband and wife "snorted some heroin" in a nearby chemist before falling to a pavement in Memphis, US.
A driver saw the couple at about 3.30pm on Monday and pulled over.
A crowd soon gathered with many laughing, taking pictures and streaming the scenes via Facebook Live, reported.
Courtland Garner told WREG he had no regrets about posting a video of the couple online.

He said: "What they were doing was children things. It was a spectacle. It made me laugh.
"When kids see that video, you know what they are going to say? I don't want to look stupid like that I don't want to do those drugs."
The couple were taken to hospital in a non-critical condition.
Police reportedly found the woman had a warrant out for her arrest and took her into custody.
Memphis and its suburbs are reportedly seeing an increase in heroin overdoses.
