Who is Tom Tugendhat's wife Anissia Morel?
Tom Tugendhat is married to lawyer Anissia Morel.
She works as a legal counsellor for the French Embassy in the UK.
Morel is French and the daughter of diplomat Pierre Morel, who worked as ambassador to Russia and China.
In 2008, she entered the French civil service when she was admitted the École Nationale d’Administration (ENA).
Two years later she joined the Conseil d'Etat, sitting on the bench of the fifth chamber where she stayed for five years.
In 2015, Anissia began a secondment for the Foreign Office as Senior Policy Planner, and in 2018 took up the position of Legal and Political advisor for the French embassy in the UK.

When did Tom Tugendhat and Anissia Morel get married?
Tom and Anissia's engagement was announced in June 2013.
The pair tied the knot the same year, and Tugendhat was selected to run as Tory candidate for Tonbridge and Malling.
It is unknown how long the pair have been together or how they met.
Morel keeps very private about her life and does not have any public social media accounts.

During the pandemic, the MP was being interviewed on Sky News when the kids crashed the live stream.
He had been discussing his objection to what he termed a "snooper's charter" as Brits were being encouraged to shop neighbours who were not complying with quarantine rules when the youngsters wandered in.
His young son, Adam, opened the door and came in, asking his father to come join in with face painting.
After encouraging his son to leave, Tugendhat tried to continue with the interview but was once again interrupted - this time Beatrice entered, and the two children began shouting.
