Hacker faces six years in jail for ‘screening porn on billboard at busy junction’

24-year-old arrested after stunt in conservative Muslim-majority Indonesia

A MAN accused of streaming porn on to a giant electronic billboard during rush hour could face six years behind bars.

The man allegedly hacked into the control system and played Tokyo Hot for 10 minutes  at a busy junction in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The power was quickly shut off but not before scenes of a steamy tryst were captured on the mobile phones of passers-by before going viral on social media, the reported.

Cops and cyber crime specialists in the conservative, Muslim-majority country launched a hunt for the hacker and on Tuesday arrested a 24-year-old IT analyst.

Police have said the mam has admitted responsibility for the prank.

Jakarta police chief Mochamad Iriawan said: "The suspect claims he worked alone.

"But we are still investigating whether he was working alone, whether he had a particular motive, or whether he was just fooling around."

Police plan to charge the man with publicly displaying a porn film and displaying a film showing indecent scenes.
