The 37-year-old hopes his "DIY tour" brings together women in similar situations.

It's understood many are keen to meet the prolific breeder as hospital clinics run low on sperm samples due to two years of Covid restrictions.

Ingrid Stefaniw, from Brisbane, Australia, is now 12 weeks pregnant with Hooper's baby after she spent £7,500 on IVF treatment which was unsuccessful.

She contacted Hooper through the Facebook page Sperm Donation Australia, according to the .

The page has more than 1,500 members and aims to pair them with potential sperm donors.

Ingrid flew to Perth to collect to the other side of country to collect Hooper's sperm and was delighted to know her child will be able to contact him before the legal age of 18.

Hooper, who has two kids of his own and 20 which were donor-conceived, began donating to desperate mums-to-be to give them a chance to raise a child.

He wants to be part of the kids' lives and wants them to have a photo of him or to communicate with him, if needed.

He said: "I want the kids to have a sense of knowing where they are from — too many donor children have to spend years trying to track down their fathers."

Another woman in the Facebook page said she loved the idea of being part of a mother's group whose children had the same father.

"I love the thought that the child can contact Adam if they want," 37-year-old Greta French-Kennedy said.

She's expecting to get her sample at the airport because of timing issues with their meetings.

For those not ovulating during Hooper's 10-day stay have been told to sit tight and wait for more tours to come up.

One woman said it would be "a dream come true" if she conceived a kid with the Aussie.

She told the Courier Mail: "Imagine being in a mothers’ group with the kids all related, what a beautiful concept."

But experts have warned against the trade and have said unregulated donations could lead to more women to go "underground".

It comes as a Sun investigation uncovered a group of donors known as the "sperm mafia" who were intimidating want-to-be mums on social media sites.

These self-styled donors have been advertising themsevles on platforms such as Facebook and specialist apps, seizing upon a nationwide shortage.

And, most controversially, their methods can range from artificial to ‘natural insemination’ (NI) - donor-speak for full sex.

While this unconventional, booming baby market has helped many mothers achieve their dream, others have revealed a darker side.

Prospective mums have told The Sun how they were bombarded with texts pressuring them into sex and sent X-rated, unsolicited pictures.

One Facebook moderator has warned of a "sperm mafia” where well-known donors resort to threats and blackmail when they fall out with ‘rivals’.

And vile messages are being traded on donor messaging groups with names like 'Sperm Bandits', where one poster brags about his sexual exploits with a lesbian woman after agreeing to help her try for a baby.
