A LOVE Island star has been caught up in the bloodbath at the nightclub Opium in Marbella that left five people injured.
Early this morning a gunman opened fire inside the packed venue following the gun and knife brawl that broke out.
The shooting is believed to have occurred during a fight between two groups of revellers in a VIP area of the beach club at around 1am.
One could be seen grabbing a large bottle while others took their shirts off as if they were preparing for a punch-up.
Chilling footage shared online appears to show commotion inside the nightclub as shots are heard.
The shooting causes a stampede on the dance floor as panicked revellers are screaming as they frantically try to flee the nightclub.

According to , the nephew of the Spanish King Felipe VI Froilán de Marichalar was at the venue celebrating his 24th birthday.
Meanwhile, Dutch Love Island star Kelly van der Minne described the terrifying moment a woman next to her was shot.
She shared on her Instagram story: "I'm not joking, I was at the club Opium in Marbella and someone just got shot, a girl at a table next to us just got shot.
"This is like the craziest thing that's ever happened, what the f***.

At least five people are said to have been taken to hospital with gunshot and stab wounds, including the alleged perpetrator.
Police confirmed that one of the victims who was seriously injured after being shot in the chest is a 32-year-old Irish national.
They also confirmed they had arrested the suspected gunman, a Dutch national, who suffered stab wounds to his head and chest after firing his weapon in the packed club.
Later on Monday, police announced they had made a second arrest, detaining a friend of the alleged gunman.
Local paper Sur said the man was being held on suspicion of taking part in the altercation which ended in gunshots.
His age and nationality have not yet been announced.

Despite initial local reports reporting one of the victims died from their injuries, cops said there were no fatalities.
A spokesperson for Spain’s National Police said: “With regards to the shooting incident at Opium in Marbella we can confirm that five people were injured.
“Four have suffered gunshot wounds, one of whom is in a serious condition.
“A person who is the suspected gunman has suffered stab wounds to the chest and head.
“He has been arrested and is under police custody.
“The police investigation is ongoing.”
A spokesman for Spain’s National Police in Malaga said: “Two of the victims, a man who is Irish and a woman, are in intensive care in hospital.
“The suspected gunman is still in hospital.”
Hospital sources at the Costa del Sol Hospital in Marbella, where the stab victim and four gunshot victims were taken, confirmed today two of the casualties were “serious.”
The source added: “A woman aged 32 suffered gunshot wounds and has trauma injuries to her abdomen and pelvic area.
“She has been operated on and is serious in intensive care.
“A man aged 32 has suffered chest injuries after being shot. He is also serious in intensive care and he is being monitored so his evolution can be charted.”
The Costa del Sol Hospital source confirmed that another man in his 40s was admitted to the hospital with stab wounds to his forehead, neck, back and eye, as well as an 18-year-old man with a bullet wound on his left hip and a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his back.
They are not considered to be in serious condition, the source said.
Officers from the National and Local police as well as emergency services rushed to the scene following multiple reports of a shooting.
An eyewitness told the outlet that the gunman started shooting randomly resulting in a number of people being injured.
Another witness who lives in the area told : “I couldn’t sleep because of the noise from the club and suddenly I heard the four shots.
"I looked out because from the beginning I knew that these were not fireworks like the ones that had been launched on other nights.
“I saw many people running and leaving the premises so I called the police.
He added that at least 18 police vehicles rushed to the scene as well as at least three ambulances.
A British expat who was among the revellers said there was a problem in the VIP area which led to one person being taken away by the bouncers.
They said the shooting happened during a second incident, ten minutes later.
The expat said: “They were swinging around those massive bottles of Belvedere Vodka and the bouncers charged back to try to sort it out and that’s when the shooting started.
“I was with my husband and he just flung himself on top of me because at one point the gunman seemed to be shooting out into the crowd.
“There was a real mad panic and everyone just rang for the exits. It was all very confusing.”
The Dutch suspected gunman has been described as being “of Arabic origin” although this has not been confirmed by police who have said only that he is from Holland.
One source said: “The bouncers are understood to have thrown out a man who had been involved in an altercation and that man is believed to have returned with a knife and gone for the gunman who he had previously had a fight with.
“Police are working on the theory the gunman reacted by getting out the weapon he was carrying and trying to shoot him after being stabbed, but he missed his target and instead shot four other people.”
South African DJ Black Coffee, whose real name is Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, was among those due to perform at Opium Beach Club last night.
He later posted a message on his Instagram story: "Hope everyone got home safe from Opium Beach Marbella."
Cops are currently investigating the reason the fight broke out between some of the revellers.
It is believed police are still at the scene while the alleged gunman has been detained and taken to hospital in serious condition.
The man is believed to have suffered stab wounds in the head and the torso.
