Cops hunting missing RAF man Corrie McKeague who vanished on night out close off busy A-road as part of hunt
His mother, uncle, brothers and police officers have appealed to find him - cops think three teens may have been the last to see him
POLICE looking for a missing RAF man today closed an A-road to search for clues.
Corrie McKeague, 23, was last seen on CCTV more than a week ago after a night out with friends in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
There have been no sightings since he was seen on camera at 3.20am on September 24.
His mobile phone has not been found despite analysis suggesting it has been moved more than 20 miles away.
His Nokia Lumia 435 was last known to be connected to a phone mast in Barton Mills about five hours after he was last seen.
Today, after closing off roads nearby to where the phone might be yesterday, police and RAF officers are searching the A11 - a busy main road which runs in Norwich, Norfolk.
Yesterday cops were appealing for a teenage girl and two boys who were in the Short Brackland area on the morning of his disappearance to come forward to help with the investigation.
The three are said to be between the ages of 16 and 18.
Police described the girl as white, of quite slim build, possibly with blonde hair and wearing either a dark green or navy blue jumper-style top.
They said one of the two youths was wearing a hooded top.
The three were seen towards the back of Cornhill Walk shopping centre in Bury St Edmunds around 4.20am on the morning Corrie went missing.
Police believe that the three teenagers may have seen Corrie in the area after the last confirmed sighting.
