And he told how fighters used to pay locals to go on runs to Burger King and McDonald’s over the border from Syria in Turkey.
Omar Hussain – who used to work as a security guard in Morrisons and Asda before becoming a brain-washed militant – revealed in a series of online conversations how he missed the comforts of home.
Bespectacled Hussain, from High Wycombe, Bucks, said: “We we would pay civilians who were going Turkey for the weekend to bring us back burgers lol.
“Those were the good old days. Even though the burgers came back cold they were still delicious lol.”
The Jihadist – who now calls himself Abu Saeed al-Britani – said he was pining for his mum’s food.
Asked what he missed he said: “Mainly food. And my mum's food of course Well her speciality was Asian dishes.
“Also cake. The whole cereal aisle in Asdas lol. Cookies. Omd the cookies.”
The home-grown terrorist became a major recruiting sergeant in the West for IS after posting a video calling for then PM David Cameron to send in British ground troops so they could be slaughtered in Syria and Iraq.
