Man, 50, arrested on suspicion of murder after woman, 39, plummets to her death in Wembley
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman plummeted to her death in London.
Emergency crews were called to Wembley in the early hours of the morning after the horror unfolded.
Sadly the 39-year-old woman couldn't be saved and was declared dead at the scene.
A 50-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
Police say the woman's death is being treated as "unexpected" with a post mortem due to take place today.
The Met said: "Emergency services were called at 02:22hrs on Friday, 29 July, to reports that a woman had fallen from height in London Road, Wembley.

"Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance. Despite their efforts, a 39-year-old woman died at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
"The death is being treated as unexpected and enquiries are taking place to establish the circumstances, led by detectives from Specialist Crime."
