Duncan Bannatyne gyms urge customers not to blow dry pubic hair
SIGNS have gone up at a number of Duncan Bannatyne gyms urging customers not to blow dry their pubic hair.
The warnings in male changing rooms say: “Member/guest notice! Please be advised that hairdryers are for head/hair only and are not to be used on any other part of the body. Thank you for your cooperation.”
They were put up following bizarre reports of gym goers using the driers on their curly wurlys.
A Twitter user asked: “What’s happened here then, Duncan?”
The former Dragons’ Den star, 73, replied that he had “no idea” and asked which gym it was.
Another man tweeted he’d seen the sign at a gym in Stratford, Warks.

Duncan later joked he was trying to get to the “bottom” of it but information was “fuzzy”.
Bannatyne Health Club and Spa has over 70 gyms across the UK since it was first founded in 1997, and has over 200,000 members.
It’s rated as four stars and prices start from £29.99 a month.
In 2013, Duncan slammed his own gym customers, saying he didn’t like the kind of people using them after he dropped the membership prices.
Speaking at the time, he said: “Once you lower your thresholds, you start to attract more of the kinds of customers who create problems and take up staff time.”
It’s not known how many gyms have put the sign up.
