I ordered a pizza – just hours later I started receiving creepy messages asking where I lived… it’s terrifying
CREEPY messages were sent to a woman just hours after she gave a pizza store her details to order dinner.
Kaitlin Reakes, 21, received terrifying texts asking "do you live alone?" and "are you single?" the day after placing her order - leaving her in constant fear.
Kaitlin and her boyfriend Fraser had ordered a pizza from Golden Grill in Newport on 3 July.
Leaving Fraser in the car, she had gone in to order and attempted to use ApplePay on her phone to complete the purchase.
But a member of staff told her this was not possible and asked her to use the online order form which required her to provide her phone number.
And the next afternoon she began receiving texts from an unknown number saying that her "new friend" wanted to meet her.
Terrified, the young woman demanded to know who was texting saying "Just tell me who you are or I'm not talking to you anymore - I've asked you three times now."
But the texter said he'd found her number "by chance" and asked "boyfriend or married?"

Fraser then took over the conversation pretending to be Kaitlin and quizzing the man on who he was.
The creep initially lied that he met her "at the disco" but eventually hinted that he was from the restaurant, saying "you ordered you have your number there" when asked again how he got her number.
At this point Fraser went to confront the owner of Golden Grill.
"His first response was that his staff would not have had access to my number so it couldn't have been any of them", said Kaitlin.
"But he then conceded that it could be possible and added that he would speak to everyone who was working that night and get back to us.
"He also apologised, but after supposedly 'looking through his employees' phones' he claimed not to have found anything."
Kaitlin has reported the matter to the police and laid out the toll it has taken on her mental health.
"It's made me feel like I can't even do something as normal as ordering myself food in case I get harassed.
"I'm not trying to ruin anyone's business but this was a complete misuse of data - I feel really vulnerable now and can't get it out of my mind."
She says the ordeal left her shaken and fearing for her safety.
Orhan Aksoy, the owner of Golden Grill, said: "I've been in business around Newport for 20 years and have always treated my customers like family - I would never put up with any of my staff doing such a thing."
He reported that he checked all his staff's phones and none of the numbers match the one texting Kaitlin.

He suggested that the collection receipt with her number on could have fallen out of the box and been picked up by anyone in the street.
A statement from Gwent Police said: "We've received a report regarding an allegation of harassment and enquiries are ongoing."
