Tate – who was born in the US – has won several world titles and now lives in where he invests in cryptocurrency and opened up a chain of casinos alongside his brother Tristan.

Tate told the YouTuber and Twitch streamer Adin Ross that he made his first million at the age of 27.

He claimed: “I made my first million when I was, say, 27, and then I had 100million by the time I was 31, and then I became a trillionaire quite recently.”

Tate’s net worth is an estimated $19.5million (£16.2million) and his wealth has allowed him to amass cars including a Bugatti, a Rolls Royce, a McLaren, and an Aston Martin.

The MMA star’s Instagram account is packed full of content, ranging from his luxury sports cars to his vacations all around the world.

His collection includes a Bugatti Cheron, an Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, a Ferrari 812 Superfast, and a Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe.

But, the athlete became infamous when he appeared on Big Brother 17 in 2016.

He was kicked off the program after a clip from 2012 which appeared to show him assaulting a woman emerged.

Tate told The Sun at the time that the video depicted role play.

The shocking footage appeared to show Tate whipping his ex-girlfriend with a belt before slapping her across the face.

Hitting back, Tate described the clip as a “kinky, sex video”.

He said at the time that he would never hit a woman, claiming the acts were consensual.

Tate threatened to kill her if she messaged any other men.

BIG BROTHER CONTROVERSY

During his time in the Big Brother House, homophobic and racist tweets also appeared to resurface.

In 2012, he allegedly sent abusive messages to the singer Cheryl regarding her marriage to Ashley Cole.

Cheryl and now-retired soccer star Cole divorced in 2010.

He was also accused of sending offensive messages on the social networking site.

In September 2017, Tate caused outrage when he claimed that depression was not a real disease.

He said: "There are very few fat lonely man, aged 60.

"With no money or family or hobbys (sic). Who arnt depressed. – this is not a clinical disease (sic)."

Tate also claimed that women should bear “some responsibility” for being raped following the allegations made against disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

And, in a podcast, he said that it was acceptable for men to have several partners.

POLICE RAID

In April 2022, Romanian cops raided Tate’s home as part of a human trafficking probe.

The country’s Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism told the that the probe was launched amid allegations that a woman was being held against her will.

Local media reports claimed that cops found an American and Romanian woman during the raid.

Tristan Tate disputed the reports that women were found inside the property.

And, Andrew addressed the allegations in an Instagram post.

He claimed: “Officer… I think we can all agree that b****** love to lie.”

FIGHT RUMORS

Months after the allegations surfaced, Tate is once again hitting the headlines.

Rumors are circulating online that he’s in talks with YouTuber Jake Paul regarding a potential fight.

However, a spokesperson for Tate denied the claims but declared a fight would be a global event.

The spokesperson told : "There are currently no productive talks with Jake Paul’s team regarding a fight between him and Andrew.

"We are aware that due to the rise in Andrew’s popularity it’s a fight the world wants to see.

"However, at this moment in time, there is nothing to report."

Paul, who has over 20million subscribers on his YouTube channel, was due to fight Hasim Rahman Jr this weekend before the event was called off at the last minute in a disagreement over the weight.
