Pervert peeping tom hackers could be peering through YOUR webcam RIGHT NOW
A new form of malware is allowing online voyeurs to record audio and video of unsuspecting users when they enable their cameras

CYBER attackers could be hacking into your Mac and recording you via your webcam without you noticing, according to reports.
A new form of malware is allowing pervy peeping toms to record audio and video of unsuspecting users when they enable their cameras.
The hackers are thought to want to access the webcams with a view to either spy on their marks for kicks or possibly even commit blackmail or identity theft if people reveal sensitive information.
Apple has put a safeguard in against the camera being activated without the user's knowledge by a green LED being illuminated by firmware when it comes on, reports .
Online security firm Synack's Patrick Wardle, who has a created a host of tools to improve OS X security in the past, issued a warning at a conference in Denver, Colorado last week.
He said: "After examining various 'webcam-aware' OS X malware samples, the research will show a new 'attack' that would allow such malware to stealthily monitor the system for legitimate user-initiated video sessions, then surreptitious piggyback into this in order to covertly record the session.
"As there are no visible indications of this malicious activity (as the LED light is already on), the malware can record both audio and video without fear of detection."
This means that the malware would allow people to be recorded at their most unguarded moments.
